Here's the jacaranda tree that's beside my apartment. The garden it overhangs looks like it's had a flurry of purple snow blow through. The next road up from mine is lined with jacarandas on each side. After two months of flowering, I had expected the colours to diminish, but thanks to regular rains they just keep going. Awesome.
